1. What
problems did you have whilst making your map?
The biggest
problem with this, as with any map, is getting started. I need an idea
in my mind as to how one part of the map will look. I started with the
cellar part, and worked by way up from that. (hence the map name.) I was
also inspired by 2 test maps by Porky and DaMaul who used the textures
that this pack was going to be based on. Once I got going, I was ok. The
cellar started off with many more columns and was much bigger, it too difficult
to get around without bumping into columns, so these were reduced quite
a lot, down to the few you now see.
2. Which
part(s) of your map are you particularly pleased with?
Hehe, I really
like the posters on the wall depicting scenes from my other maps, well
it makes me laugh anyway :)
3. Is there
anything you don't like in your map?
No, I think
it's great, but then I'm biased !
4. Even
though there is a standard set of textures used in each map, what have
you done to show your individual mapping skills?
Flow, and my
usual layout of 2 areas with rl's, this is the smallest team map I have
done so far. I have also keep the speed of the map (r_speeds) down so it's
playable on any machine, something I always aim to do.
5. Is there
anything you wanted to add to your map, but didn't get chance to? If yes
what would you have done?
Nope, I had
plenty of time to add what I wanted.
