A mixed batch of 6 reviews up tonight:
Black Coffee by Drannerz.
Halls of the White Wizard by Tronyn.
hjdm3 catfish by BIGFooT_47.
Kdm1 - Animositania by Kell.
Kdm2 - The Killing Jar by Kell.
Kdm8 - Azuramania by Kell.
I should be putting 3 more reviews up tomorrow evening as well.
Bascule asked in the Suggestions/Comments thread the following:
>>
I don't know if this is the right place to post this (so kick me if it isn't), but I am trying to get Quake to change from one custom level to another whilst playing DM with a fraglimit/timelimit.
Most custom maps seem to revert to Start once the limit is reached, but I want to Changelevel to another custom map. Can I do this in Quake (some config or other), or is it built into each map which map plays next?
><<
I can't remember what to do for that, I know though its just some simple stuff in a .cfg file. If you have any suggestions then please comment here or email Bascule.
Looks like Zeal (who tried to cover his tracks by using my name) likes doing daft comment posts and was stupid enough to leave an email address behind, [email protected]. If you want to be a dick then f**k off here.
Now the beta testing section I mentioned earlier, well Shambler pointed out that Qmap has a map tracker which works as a beta section which does the job perfectly I reckon, so if you need a place to get comments on a beta, go there.
Couple of things, I updated the Site Links so that its up to date, instead of being a year out of date. And Shambler appears to have found one of fav reviews I've done (it's a favourite simply because I can't believe I was that abusive) of Saving Private Ryan, which is on the Worst Maps list funnily enough.

Ok. To set up a map rotation, add the following to your server.cfg:
map aerowalk (this is the map you want the server to start with--can be anything)
localhost aerowalk efdm12 (tells the server which map to switch to)
localhost efdm12 aerowalk (completes the loop)
Simple! You can put as many maps in this list as you'd like, as long as each localhost command ties into the previous map, and you complete the loop with the last localhost to the first map. Otherwise, its back to start with you!

localinfo pkeg1 ultrav
localinfo ultrav aerowalk
localinfo aerowalk aggressr
localinfo aggressr efdm8
localinfo efdm8 efdm13
localinfo efdm13 bless
localinfo bless spinev2
localinfo spinev2 ztndm3
localinfo ztndm3 tigacid
localinfo tigacid pkeg1
map pkeg1
Put that in your server config file or any cfg file that is executed from the server config file.
The above is only for quakeworld servers though. If you want to set up a map rotation inside normal quake then you are out of luck. To the best of my knowledge there's no way to set it up unless you use some kind of mod.

Fuck you, page. FUCK YOU.
In case you can't work out how to assemble it correctly, do it as below but without the one line spaces... it probably wouldn't hurt anything mind you, and you can be pretty casual with formatting in quake config files, but better to be safe than sorry.
localinfo map1 map2
localinfo map2 map3
localinfo map3 map4
localinfo map4 map1
map 1

"localinfo" to set the map rotation. It tells the server which map to go to next. The first and last maps named in the whole list of "localinfo" commands must be the same map as that named using the "map" command (the "start" map the server initially launches). Follow the format provided by Frib, with each command on a sepetate line.
If you are still confused, email me and I'll send you my server.cfg so you can see for yourself :-)
